As the Jesus Menino family, we lived a Holy Week deeply marked by faith, silence, service, and love shared in community.
These were days when our hearts walked alongside Jesus: from His entry into Jerusalem to the table of the Eucharist, from the sorrow of the Cross to the stillness of the tomb… until the radiant joy of the Resurrection!
We celebrated each moment with simplicity and depth: we washed one another’s feet, shared in the sorrow of the Passion through prayer and contemplation, and on Easter Sunday, our hearts were filled with hope as we joyfully proclaimed: He is alive!
Seeing our children participate — each in their own beautiful way, eyes fixed on Jesus — reminded us once again that love conquers all things. That to serve, often in silence, is the truest path to Heaven.
We are grateful to all who joined us in these holy days — whether in person or in prayer. May the light of the Risen Christ continue to guide our steps as a community.
Christ is alive! And He walks with us!
