Last week, the Jesus Menino Community celebrated a very special moment: the baptism of João Pedro, the newest son of Antônio and the Community, only 2 years and 5 months old.
João Pedro was welcomed in a ceremony full of love and faith, with his godparents, Rafaela and Gustavo, the Community’s longest-serving volunteers, who have dedicated their lives to its mission. Also present as consecration godparents were Alexandre, Tônio’s first son from the Casa Gira Sol days, and Mrs. Lúcia, one of the Community’s most senior and beloved staff members.
This moment embodies the essence of the Jesus Menino Community: a family built on love, dedication, and faith.
